About Us

The beginnings of Finck & Perras date back to 1935 when G.A. Finck & Son Insurance Agency first opened its doors in Florence to sell home and auto insurance. In 1973 the Gifford & Perras Agency opened in Easthampton.  Both agencies quickly became a regional leaders in personal and commercial insurance. After years of working closely together, the two agencies decided to join forces in 2001 and became what is now known as Finck & Perras Insurance Agency. 

In  2015 agency leadership was transferred over to Genevieve Brough. Gen has been with the agency since 1994, starting as a Customer Service Representative and working her way up to Vice President before purchasing the agency from the former partners in 2015. 

With 30 plus employees our goal has always been to be more than just an insurance agency. It has been to be your trusted insurance PARTNER. We provide home, auto, business, motorcycle and boat insurance for over 12,000 customers and have been for generations. There is a reason our customers stay with us, recommend their family and friends to us, and have voted us the Best Local Insurance Agency for twelve years by the Valley Advocate and the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

We are also a leader in providing insurance for businesses large and small in Western Massachusetts. Whether it is a one person operation with no employees or a large nonprofit with hundreds, we have been providing the best customer service for 88 years. With access to dozens of carriers we can provide our customers with competitive quotes for almost any type of business. 

At Finck & Perras, we know that being a local insurance agency is about much more than selling insurance. We live and work in this community, know the people here and know how important it is to give back. We have a long history of supporting organizations and causes, both with financial contributions and through staff involvement. Over the years, we have supported dozens of organizations, including the Diabetes Foundation, Riverside Industries, Linked to Libraries, the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life and the Easthampton Learning Foundation to name a few.
